Review: Trend Macro

The blog itself was composed of links to other sources that the authors had written for. The article that I read for this review was really interesting. It was based on the upcoming tax revenue being generated by bills passed in 2005 during the Bush administration. I would say that the meat of this article was very interesting, if dry and technical. I really is not everyone's cup of tea.

The overall trend for this blog was political in nature. The stance that was taken really seemed in the right wing of politics. While I didn't see "true" citations for information, there were several affirmations as to where the information came from (i.e. the firm the author worked for). I would say that the information for this blog vs. the local newspaper seems to give a little more edge to the blogger as he is actually writing it whereas most of the local newspaper seems to give space to the Associated Press. I would say that what I didn't care for the most was the fact that this was a very technical blog. If one is unfamiliar to the political and tax jargon then they become lost. It also gives me the feeling that I am reading one authors collection of works from other sources rather than a true blog.
